Families can use energy batteries to charge from the grid during low electricity prices, store electricity, and discharge during peak electricity prices for household use, thereby achieving peak and valley electricity price arbitrage and reducing electricity costs. Taking Jiangsu as an example, a household that installs a 10kWh energy storage system can generate an annual arbitrage income of over 3000 yuan, and the investment payback period can be shortened to 5-6 years.
