The running time of a 2000W inverter depends on the capacity of the battery, the conversion rate of the battery and the power of the load. These three factors are the main factors that determine the running time of the inverter, of course, in addition to these factors, there are some secondary factors, the aging degree of the battery, the ambient temperature and humidity, and the electrical appliances are resistive, inductive or capacitive and other factors will also affect the running time of the inverter.
A 2000w inverter requires at least 1600w of battery capacity for operation. Generally speaking, for a 2000w inverter with 12dc input, it requires at least 167v of input current to the inverter and 16.6A of battery capacity to the load. 2000w inverter can be configured with 2 x 12v200AH batteries, which can be used to run at full power for about 2.4h in theory, within economic limits. Theoretically, this configuration can run at full power for about 2.4 h. The more batteries, the better, within the economic limits.
Of course, the inverter can’t actually convert all the input DC power to AC power, in fact, the efficiency of the inverter is about 70% to 95%, so when calculating the running time of the inverter, the efficiency of the inverter is also an important influence factor.
Inverters are used in a wide range of applications, solar power systems, wind power systems, household appliances and cell phones and other electronic products can be powered by inverters. Of course, on the basis of the same battery capacity, the supply of different appliances, the time can run naturally different. Most appliances can be roughly judged as to how long they can be supplied, though appliances like air conditioners need to be judged on a case-by-case basis.
This largely depends on the battery you are connecting to, if you are connecting to a 12v battery then it is recommended that you connect 16mm² copper core wire, if you are connecting to a 24v battery then it is recommended that you connect 10mm² copper core wire.

Of course, the runtime of an inverter is very much dependent on the capacity of the batteries, so replacing them with larger batteries or increasing the number of batteries by connecting them in parallel can be very effective in prolonging the runtime.
