When the charging current is greater than this value, it is not possible to ensure that all batteries are fully charged at the same time.
Also known as series charging method. That is, in the charging process, constantly adjust the charging voltage to maintain a constant current. This charging method is simple and easy to realize. Battery in the charging process, the charger will have two different forms of performance, respectively, a large number of charging stage and float charging stage.
First, when charging by CCCV, the charger will steadily increase the charging voltage in the first half to keep providing the maximum charging current to the battery. Generally speaking, lead-acid batteries have higher self-discharge rates and need to be switched to the float stage at the end of charging, while the float state of Li-FePO4 batteries is not common, but if your charger is connected to an electrical appliance while charging, and at this time, you need to use a rechargeable battery to supply power to the electrical appliance instead of Li-FePO4 batteries, you can achieve this by setting the float state to maintain the batteries in a specific state of charge.
LiFePO4 battery charging temperature range is about zero degrees Celsius to forty degrees Celsius. Thanks to the BMS system installed inside the battery, it can protect the battery from damage caused by the ambient temperature during charging. When the battery overheats during the charging process, the BMS will actively disconnect the charging connection and wait for the battery to cool down before reconnecting it for charging. When the battery is too cold during the charging process, the BMS can control the battery to warm up before reconnecting.
Generally speaking, Li-FePO4 battery packs are connected in series when charging, and connected to a balance charging board for overall charging. The role of the balance charging board is to use its wires to detect the voltage of each battery during charging, to keep the charging voltage of a single battery will not exceed the set threshold, so as to ensure the normal charging of each battery as well as the synchronized charging of the whole battery pack.
